Description
The rounded corners and matte plastic give it a more modern look. However, the mounting plate has become wider and that is a shame if you ask me. It thinks it takes up way too much space, in fact I would love if it was even smaller than on the old switch. The new switch is also a lighter than the old one (72g Vs 100g). Another thing that has changed in the design is that the magnets used to be in the mounting plates, but they are now moved to the switch itself. With that move you can place the switch on the fridge without the mounting plate if that make sense for you.

The most remarkable with the new version 2 switch is the Hue button. There are still 4 buttons, but instead of one button for power on and one for power off, it is now integrated in an on/off button. With the old switch the on button was also used to change between 5 different scenes. That function has now moved to the new Hue button. In my optic this make much more sense than in the first version.
